Leon Clements is a final year undergraduate studying BSc (Hons) Software Engineering at Southampton Solent University. The course has a strong emphasis on software engineering principles and practice and software project management.
Two group projects and an individual final year project were undertaken spanning the full life-cycle, as well as many other partial-life-cycle projects. Both UML and traditional procedural approaches were studied and employed in the projects.
Implementation centered on three core areas:
- Java Application Development (both client- and distributed server-side applications)
- Web Development (HTML,PHP and MySQL)
- Database Management Systems (using Oracle)
